Sleeping in Styles - part 3

If you've been updating news about the Cat Kingdom's dwellers from time to time then you remember the previous posts.

This time - still with the same title - I focused on capturing the little angels. Btw, their names are "cutie" Ale, "naughty" Ace, and "princess" Aiko.

Colours of Spring

This time all the scratching posts were made in variety of colours but simple in designs.
Pretty eye-catching, aren't they?

Have You Ever ... ?

The complete question is - have you ever celebrated your kids' birthdays?
We've done so several times already, we always buy a cake then we put the candle on it. When the candle has been lit, the kids will come around the cake and do anything they like. Some might sniff the cake, a few may even lick the cake's icing , one or two of them will come closer to the candle - try to reach it and get some of their hair burnt.

Another b-day surprise was prepared by the housemaid on her own initiative. It was Kenny's (his fave stud at home) n his siblings' b-day at that time. When I arrived home from work, mbak was so busy in the kitchen. She'd been cooking "festive yellow rice" and put it into several boxes to be delivered to our neighbours.
What do you think our neighbours will say about us when they know the fact that it was meant to celebrate the kid's b-day? I never ask so just let this remain as a mystery.

Anyway, at the beginning of November this year we celebrated Joy's b-day. This time was quite different coz we didn't only prepared a cake but we also dressed Joy n Lucky in special costumes. Check the pictures below.

Cat Tunnels

As all the dwellers in Cat Kingdom show great curiousity on new stuffs and have really high intensity of playing with anything around them - including plastic groceries bags, paper balls, tissue rolls and bottle caps - I am quite sure these cat tunnels will soon be the most wanted stuff, just like the other toys introduced to them earlier.
Anyway, the tunnels are made in order to encourage them play hide-n-seek. I can't wait to see how they will react this time. Hope they'll enjoy the tunnels.

Tora in Action!

Well well... the condo I called Heart n Spade previously - was especially designed for Eka in Garut. I finished the condo last weekend then sent it to Bandung on Monday (too bad I couldn't find any direct delivery service to Garut).  Anyway.. now the condo's in the right hand already!
Here's a picture Eka sent me - with Tora up on the platform taking a nap.

PS. Thanks to Eka for sending me the nice photograph!

Heart and Spade

Bloody Red and Dark Noir - what a lovely n elegant combination! This time Joy was posing first. She jumped right up to the platform and was sitting there for a while before letting any'cat' else enjoying the new condo. Then Lucky's turn - but posing wasn't his main purpose. He'd been targeting the little strawberry hanging below the platform. Gotcha!!!

Add up all your YES answers to get your cat-itis score

8 or less: You have caught the bug, but are still relatively sane. Just give it time.

9-16: You have a mild case of cat-itis. Seek no medical treatment; there is no cure. Now is the time to begin playing with cat toys and seeking new toys around the house. Work on that meow, the tone is slightly off.

17-26: Your condition is severe. Cats have a firm hold on your life. This is the point where anything cat is more interesting than people. Your purr may still need work though.

27+: You are now an honorary cat, you may groom yourself when and where you please. You have the purr and meow down pat. It is not unusual to find yourself thinking as a cat.

Remember Ninja Project?

Ever heard of "Remember Ninja Project"? I came across to it while googling though.

Let me tell you a bit about it. This project is intended to tickle our awareness of kids torturing animals and take actions on preventing it from happening over and over again.

Some people might say 'aaahhh they're just kids - they don't even know what they're doing' but please check this quote!

children torturing and killing animals is not "kids being kids",
but a serious sign of psychological and emotional problems

Do you agree or disagree with the statement above?

Anyway, this message - of course - is important during the whole year but why is this project launched in October? Shelters and law enforcement agencies across America report magnificent increases in animal cruelty associated with Halloween "pranks". That's why they start highlighting the program this month.

We are supposed to be the pioneers and make some breakthrough on how to educate people - especially parents - that animal cruelty is a dangerous sign and an early indicator of future potential for violence against other people.

Shall we?!?

Btw, this project is dedicated to all the animals, like
Ninja, still wait for justice and change!

Well, you might be confused and ask yourself about why it's called Remember Ninja. You can click on this link to read the preceeding story about this project.

Sleeping in Styles - part 2

Doing things together are always great. Like proverb said '' the more the merrier'', it applies to Cat Kingdom dwellers too - while they're sleeping.

Check the pictures below, will you?

Sleeping in Styles - part 1

Several of Cat Kingdom dwellers do have certain styles while sleeping and I found them cute so I grabbed my camera and started taking pictures.
Here are some snapshots I want to share with you.
