Simple Design

I'm back to simple designs as last time when I made the 3-tiers Kitty Gym, it took approximately 3-4 days to do the whole process starting from making sketches n dimensions to finishing.

I've designed 2 new scratching posts. They're simple, unique, stylish and of course - useful for you furry friends.

3-tiers Kitty Gym

This time I've managed to make a 3-tiers Kitty Gym with Giraffe pattern's carpet. I wonder if you think it sturdy enough for my "giants" at Cat Kingdom.
Should you have any comments or inputs, feel free to drop a message.

Dear Mom

Dear mom,

I'm writing this to express how much I feel grateful for being born in this wonderful world. For me it's more than just a "flip of a coin" to have a super mom like you. Someone who loves me very much and really cares for me. I believe some babycats n kittens out there aren't as lucky as I am now.

I hope I'll be as playful, caring, wise, patient, n superb as you when I'm grown up. I love you, mom!

PS. You can take a look at the pictures below to see that everything I've told you about my mom are all true

How big is "BIG" ?!?

How big is "BIG"? How small is "SMALL"?

How will you answer those questions? Seems so simple, yet the answers might vary from one to other people.

Well, let's give a glimpse at Jack Daniel a.k.a JD, one of my cats and let me know if you think he's tiny, small, medium, big, or huge (perhaps)?!?

Bloody Red Scratching Post

The kitty gym I made a few months ago is still sturdy enough but I found the dimension was too large so I've been thinking about building a new smaller one.
BUT.. I don't have enough space at my place, so I made a small scratching post instead.

Take a look at the pictures below!

Kennedy Acts

Here's Kennedy (or Kenny in short) - my maid's fave cat! Isn't he cute?

Oucchhh! Exercise needed!

Starting with the fact of having more than 20 cats at the same time and find some of them having lumpy stomach and potbelly, I've looked around to several petshops for scratching posts or cat trees but ended up disappointed as I couldn't find anything interesting. Seems that most petshop's owners here in Surabaya aren't familiar with the word "scratching post" yet.

Since that time I've been terribly in need of a scratching post for my cats being able to exercise and stretch & tone their back & shoulder muscles - or in general it will be very useful for them to do their regular self-maintenance program to keep their claws nice and sharp for self defense. When cats scratch, they are actually dislodging and removing a transparent sheath that grows over the claws. If you notice where your cats usually do their scratching, you might occassionally find the left-over sheaths buried in the carpet or furniture.

Now can you see why you need one too? You will be able to save your carpet and furniture for longer use for sure!!!

That's why then I decided to build one myself and what I had in mind was that it has to be sturdy and durable as I don't want to waste time just to get rubbish within weeks.

So here it is - I call it a kitty gym which is a combination of both a scratching post and a cat's condo. Check this out!
